DSM Nutrition Improvement needed clarity in how to articulate themselves, both within DSM, as the purposeful arm of a commercial nutrition company, and the wider BoP nutrition system.

Makmende approach

A six-week strategy development process of desk research and in-depth interviews with internal stakeholders from every level of DSM Nutrition Improvement and external BoP nutrition stakeholders, both public and private.

Outcome

A comms framework that has given DSM Nutrition Improvement a mission, vision and purpose that extends far beyond itself. From all our research, we triangulated a position allows them to grow their business whilst driving transformational change in the BoP nutrition system, bringing public and public bodies closer together for the benefit of the people who really matter: the 3 billion of us living with hidden hunger.
